In the year 2001 was established in the Czech republic the youngest branch of the German Company AXA- Entwiklungs-und Maschinenbau GmbH Schöppingen under the Czech name AXA CNC stroje, s.r.o. with the seat in the town Hořovice, about 50 km west of Prague. The main production programmed of the company nowadays is the production of milling machining centers, CNC turning machines with tilted bed, machine accessories and exchangeable quick fasteners for cutting tools. The machines are equipped by control systems and servo-drives products of companies Heidenhain and Siemens. Number of employees now is about 50 people from technical and production dpt. The common feature for all milling centers is movable column making the principle movement in axis X/Y/Z and horizontal working table fi xed connected on welded frame.
