The Company has been established in the year 1903 as ARNO PLAUERT Engineering Plant. From the very beginning the production was focused on Metal Cutting Machines. Since the year 1915 the Factory has started, as the monopoly producer, to manufacture Horizontal Boring Machines, the production of which has become, after the year 1945, the main production programme. Since the year 2001 the Factory can offer new modular TOStec machine series with wide range of technological application. It is also the holder of ISO 9001:2000 quality standard and exports more than 90 % of its production not only to EU countries and North American territory but also to rapidly expanding markets of Russia, China and India.
