Association of Machine Tools is voluntary association of individual and juristic persons active in machine tool production, technical development and application. The Association promotes the expansion of machine tool production, development and application in the Czech republic with aim to provide an effective assistance to our machine tool industry so that to attain the high standard and significant increase of the Czech machine tool builders share in the world machine tool production. For this purpose the Association organizes scientific or technical conferences, lectures, discussions, workshops, courses, professional excursions, various meetings of experts etc.; assists in interconnecting of industry and technical universities; supports the scientific and publication activity in the sector; develops prognosis activity and creates concepts for the sector of Machine Tools; supports or set up, from Association own financial means, grants to appreciate the best products , scientific works, articles and further creative activities to support studies and scientific work of the talented students and to publish professional publications; ; supports the best development and research programme in this sector, including publicity of machine tools sector on purpose of attracting young people to study and work in the sector; collaborates with further institutions and foreign associations with similar programme.
