Dormer Pramet, a Czech manufacturer of indexable cutting tools, and Dormer Tools, a company engaged in the field of solid cutting tools, started working together and created a group - Dormer Pramet. The merger of both companies is beneficial to customers since it brings completed assortment and wider territorial coverage, which is now worldwide. Dormer Pramet offers its products and services via 30 subsidiaries covering more than 100 markets across all continents. Dormer Pramet tools are made in two manufacturing plants, whereas indexable cutting inserts are 100% made in the Czech Republic, in Šumperk. Generally, the Dormer Pramet assortment is focused on general engineering, primarily on tools for turning, milling, drilling and threading. The company also offers logistics system under the brand Pramet Prolog.
