Company introduction:

The interest group Association of Engineering Technology - SST is effective in the Czech Republic since 1990. It associates about 40 significant manufacturing and supply organizations which are mostly enganged in manufacturing and supplying of metal cutting machines, metal forming machines, woodworking machines, tools, measurig equipment, hydraulic elements and aggregates. The Association is an important partner of government istitutions, the Economic Chamber and confederation of industry of the Czech Republic due to the support and protection of business interests of its members. SST has been aktive for 10 years in European structures, namely it is a member of the prestigious organization which associates national associations of manufacturers from 15 European countries known as CECIMO (European Committee for Cooperation in the Machine Tool Industry), in which it actively participates in the work of technical and economic committees. It provides intermediary service for manufacturers and suppliers of engineering technique in both the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, especially in the field of international exhibitions and fairs, e.g. EMO. SST is also coorganiser of International Fair of Machine Tools IMT in Brno. SST continuously publishes presentation and information materials on current production programs of its members, periodical magazine „The World of Engineering Technique and especially, highly requested and appreciated Metalworking Machine Tool Catalogues, in which all the machines manufactured by member organizations are listed. Very important aktivity is the elaboration of economic and statistical analyses, market analysis and Annual reports on the development of the machine tool industry in the Czech Republic.
